We truly enjoyed delicious breakfasts!

The idea to include tea and coffee making facilities, and refrigerators in the standard king room was nice.

Actually everything was modern, my next choice again in San Diego. The breakfast was delicious on the roof deck and the pool was nice. Liked the room with a view, my bed was good. Its location at a short distance from an interactive museum was good and fantastic.

Unique and impeccably clean place, very professional and especially helpful staff with great service. A nice size and well-equipped room with beautiful views, a coffee machine and a safe box. Hypoallergenic pillows, comfortable bed. Quiet location, minutes away from San Diego Opera. Very very nice area. About 5 minutes walk to bus stop.

The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The meals we had were excellent. The atmosphere was great. It is a very happening place. The room was ver comfortable an clean. Thenoom was serviced every day and was kept beautiful clean. Would reommend is hotel to all my friend and would definitely stay there again on my return trip.

The staff was really nice the front desk very helpful, food menu needs improvement....not a good location for the pool, why not located at the top roof floor?! Overall it was a good experience....

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement

Checked into a pleasant standard king room after a long flight. The food at the onsite restaurant was tasty and conveniently located. Future guests should clarify charges upon arrival, but staff were generally friendly and accommodating. Valet service could improve for smoother operations.

The earthquake we experienced was much bigger than I could imagin but the hotell wasnt damaged!

I loved how the hotel was just a short walk from both the USS Midway Museum and the Maritime Museum of San Diego as I strolled through the picturesque waterfront area. Plus, the vibrant ground-floor bar was a cute spot to relax after a day of exploring, offering great food and friendly service.

We loved the breakfast menu; and I had a fantastic facial at the spa.

The rooms were dated and in need of a re-vamp. The rate at the W San Diego was the same as the one in Scotsdale where we stayed immediately prior to coming to San Diego....but the rooms were far superior in Scotsdale. It was a real let-down when we were shown to our room.
